Module 1: 1.4.1 Different Types of Drivers
1.4.1 The Distracted Driver
A distracted driver is the one who keeps planning his day while driving. His focus is neither on the road nor on his vehicle. Instead, he is busy thinking about things, such as grocery shopping or an upcoming meeting at the office. Because he is indulged in these activities, it is almost impossible to shift his focus on the road. These distractions can also fatigue his mind. For example, a distracted driver may not work attentively after reaching his office, as his distractions would have made him weary.
If you think you are among these types of drivers, your priority should be to avoid these distractions and drive more attentively. By doing this, your chances of getting involved in a car accident will reduce drastically.
