Module 1: 1.6.2 Mental & Physical Conditions that Affect Driving
- 1.6.2 Vision Problems
Vision-related problems, such as myopia (short-sightedness) and night blindness, and eye conditions like glaucoma and cataracts can profoundly impair one’s ability to drive. If you have problems with your vision, then always wear your prescribed glasses and get your eyes examined regularly. Also, try to schedule your trips during daylight hours and avoid driving at night as much as you can. Avoiding sunglasses at night can also be helpful.
