Module 2: 3.2 Understand that other drivers can make mistakes
While driving on the road, you are hardly ever on your own. It means you are vulnerable because of other players’ actions on the road. However, you can minimize your risk for a road accident by anticipating that others will make blunders, and therefore you need to preempt your reaction to stay safe.
Never assume that another driver is an expert or has seen you or appropriately utilizes signals. You need to ensure your safety, and the golden rule is to put minimal trust in others. In this way, you will be able to drive more cautiously.
The golden rule is never to trust others on the road but only yourself.
