Module 1: 1.3.2 Factors that Lead to RTCs
1.3.2 Vehicles with Inadequate Maintenance
Vehicle manufacturers must build their products to show compliance to safety standards for reducing the likelihood of collisions, crashes, and fatalities. Some factors that make a car secure are front and side-impact regulations, electronic stability for preventing over-steering, installing airbags, seat belts, etc. Additional features, such as anti-lock brakes, child safety systems, blind-spot detectors, backup cameras, etc., also enhance the safety and security features of the vehicles.
